MadisonDie angekündigte Doppel-CD mit dem Titel "The Elvis Presley Show - Holding Down The Fort" wurde auf weiteres verschoben. Nun sind weitere Infos zum Inhalt bekannt geworden.
Angekündigt ist das Konzert aus Fort Worth - Texas vom 03.06.1976, welches hier erstmals komplett enthalten sein wird. Teile davon wurden bereits von Madison in einer mä?igen Qualität veröffentlicht. Die neue CD soll nun - laut Ankündigung - von den Tapes der ersten Generation stammen und verspricht dadurch einen besseren Sound. Abgerundet wird die Veröffentlichung mit einem 16seitigen Booklet.
Zum ersten mal, wird eine s. g. "Pre-Show" mit Joe Guercio und dem Hot Hilton Horns, J. D. Sumner und den Stamps sowie den Sweet Insparations enthalten sein. So enthält die erste CD u. a. die Titel "When The Saints Go Marching In" und "You'll Never Walk Alone" von den Stamps, von den Sweet Inspirations werden die Songs "Philadelphia Freedom", "Lady Marmalade" und ein Medley der Hits von Stevie Wonder gesungen.
Der zweite Teil der CD umfasst das komplette Elvis? Konzert, wo bereits Teile auf der "Cajun Tornado" (Madison CWP-05 MS) erschienen sind, jedoch in einem besseren Sound (so die Ankündigung). Die fehlenden Songs sind u. a. "If You Love Me (Let Me Know)", "Heartbreak Hotel" und "Help Me".
