Vielen Dank! Die 5cd Box besitze ich. Die Quellen vom ECB sind mir bekannt. Mir ging es um: "Veröffentlicht". "Fever Pitch" ist noch nicht erschienen.

Bin auf dem Gebiet nicht so beschlagen, aber ich kenne nur ein Honolulu-Interview zwischen Elvis und Moffett.
das aber angeblich vom 29. April 1965 stammt (Länge 4'20, zu finden auf der Special Collector‘s Edition, disc 2).

Das gleiche Interview, an dem auch Peter Noone teilnimmt, ist auf der The Elvis Interviews auf den 20. März 1966 datiert (4'18 min).

Auf der Let's Take it on Home Again ist dieses Interview ebenfalls zu finden. Dort wird aber Moffett nicht genannt, sondern nur Noone (4'31 min, datiert auf den 18. August 1965)

Gleiches gilt für die Complete Word for Word (disc 4; 4'18 min, auch hier auf den 18. August 1965 datiert).

Da du diese 5 CDs selber hast, nehme ich nicht an, dass Du hier eventuell etwas verwechselt haben könntest?

Ich wage diese Frage in den Raum zu stellen, da Interviews häufig falsch/unterscheidlich datiert werden (s.o.)
und gleiches offensichtlich auch für die Interviewpartner gilt (insbesondere auf dem 3 CD-Set Talking with the King).

Laut Elvis - Day by Day (pp. 207-8) fand das Interview am 18. August 1965 während der Dreharbeiten zu Paradise Hawaiian Style statt.
Dort ist auch ein Bild von Elvis und Noone zu finden.

Auf der The Interviews von Prism Records ist eben jenes Interview wiederum auf den 29. April 1965 datiert.

Patricia Jobe Pierce datiert das Interview auf den 19. August (the Ultimate Elvis, p. 201).

Wenn Dein 59er-Datum richtig ist, kann es sich also um dieses Interview nicht handeln.

Wie kommst Du auf dieses Datum?

Ich denke, dass mein Datum richtig ist. Ich hatte mich kürzlich mit einem Freund darüber unterhalten. Mittlerweile ist das Tom-Moffet-Interview von 1961 auch auf der FEVER PITCH veröffentlicht worden.

Dort sagt Moffet, dass er sich am Set von "Blue Hawaii" befindet. Am Anfang des Interviews erwähnt Moffet, dass er Elvis bereits in Los Angeles und während seiner Zeit in Germany interviewt hat und dass man damal über das lond distance telephone gesprochen hat.

Also dieses Interview von 1959 fand tatsächlich statt. Siehe auch Klaus Link zu den Seiten des ECB.

Okay. Das Interview von 1965 vermittelt auch den Eindruck, als würden sich die beiden schon länger kennen.
