Am 01.12.2006 erscheint das Projekt "Writing For The King", welches ein 400 Seiten starke Buch und eine Doppel-CD beinhaltet.
Das Buch enthält mehr als 140 Interviews von Songschreiber (z. B. John Fogerty, Paul McCartney, Leiber & Stoller, Mac Davis, Phil Spector, Paul Anka und Neil Sedaka). Auf der Doppel-CD werden RCA Live-Aufnahmen von Elvis aus den Jahren 1969 bis 1972 verwendet und auf der zweiten CD sind die Original Demos zu hören, wie sie Elvis vorgelegt wurden.

Hier nun die neuesten Infos zur bevorstehenden Veröffentlichung am 01.03.2005. Die Doppel-CD erscheint in Kombination mit einem Buch und trägt den Titel "Rocking Across Texas".
Das Buch stammt von Stanley Oberst, welcher bereits im August 2004 das Buch "Elvis in Texas" (ISBN: 1556228872) veröffentlichte. Im Buch zur "Rocking Across Texas" wird es neue Storys aus der Zeit von Elvis in Texas geben, alte aus dem besagten Buch wurden überarbeitet und das Ganze wird mit raren Fotos abgerundet.
Auf den beiden CD´s kommen zwei Soundboardmitschnitte zur Veröffentlichung. Einmal vom 19.06.1974 aus Amarillo - Texas und vom 03.07.1976 aus Fort Worth - Texas.
Als Bonus gibt es dann noch ein 1960 aufgenommenes unveröffentlichtes Interview aus Odessa - Texas mit Elvis und seinem Manager Colonel Tom Parker.
