Dieses Konzert wurde, wenn es so zur Veröffentlichung kommt, von BMG "vergewaltigt", denn die Monologe wurde ans Ende der Show geschnitten?!?
CD 2 wird ein komplettes Konzert vom 11.08.1970 enthalten und als Bonus den Publikumsmitschnitt "When The Snow Is On The Roses". Dies ist die Show, von der wir u. a. das Poem "Men With Broken Hearts" mit "Walk A Mile In My Shoes" kennen.
Die nächste CD, CD 3, kommt mit Ausschnitten aus Konzerten vom Februar 1970 und Februar 1972 daher. Und auf CD Nummer 4 werden Soundboard-Mitschnitte aus den Jahren 1974 und 1975 mit den Auftritten von 1956 aus dem New Frontier Hotel gepaart.

BMG 07863 67732 2Nun ist sie erschienen, nach der langer Befragung der vielen Elvis-Fan-Clubs. Die Coveraufmachung ist Geschmacksache, doch entspricht sie dem Zeitgeist. Der Inhalt ist dagegen SUPER gestaltet worden.
Ich werde absichtlich nicht mehr darüber schreiben, damit jeder diese Überraschung genießen kann. Dies soll ein Trostpflaster sein, da ja bekanntes Material verwendet wurde.
