Elvis 1973 - The Soundbooth Collection & More: Volume 2 (6 CDs - RedeMption)

Der Nachfolger zu Volume 1  (Forums-Link)  ist erschienen. Dieses umfassende Deluxe-Set mit 6 CDs enthält so genannte Soundbooth-Aufnahmen, die während 4 Live-Auftritten im Las Vegas Hilton im Jahr 1973 aufgenommen wurden. Soundbooth Aufnahmen sind Aufnahmen, die mit einem Mikrofon (Mono) oder zwei Mikrofonen (Stereo) direkt auf der Bühne gemacht wurden.

Alle Auftritte wurden sorgfältig remastered und werden so präsentiert, wie sie aufgenommen wurden: in prächtigem „Stereo“-Sound. Außerdem ist die Bühnenprobe vom 25. Januar 1973 in korrigierter Geschwindigkeit enthalten, und sie klang nie besser als auf diesem Set. Als Bonus ist die komplette Homerecording-Aufnahme, die im November 1973 im Haus von Sam Thompson in Memphis Tennessee gemacht wurde, ebenfalls enthalten.

Die beiliegende Bonus-CD enthält 24 seltene oder offiziell unveröffentlichte Versionen von Studiotiteln, die 1973 aufgenommen wurden. Diese Disc enthält Rough-Mix-Master, unbearbeitete Master und einige großartige alternative Aufnahmen und Proben.
