Für den Dezember 2025 wird das zweibändige Set "FTD World 1999 - 2025" angekündigt und in diesem werden alle Veröffentlichungen des Sammlerlabels "Follow That Dream" der Jahre 1999 bis 2025 enthalten sein.
Jedes Volume umfasst 152 Seiten, erscheint im A4-Format als Taschenbuch, mit englischem Text und verschiedenste Fotos zu den einzelnen Veröffentlichungen.
Ankündigung:
"In 1999, 22 years after Elvis' death, a new label, FTD (Follow That Dream), was founded for avid Elvis fans who wanted more than just official releases. FTD releases were available through fan clubs and Elvis dealers around the world, and were extremely well-received from the start. The variety of releases gradually expanded to include not only CDs but also LP records, books, and box sets. As of late 2025, over 280 FTD titles have been released.
We have compiled all 281 FTD titles in these two books, from 'Burbank 68', released in 1999, to the most recent, 'Good Times - The Outtakes' 2025 re-issue on Ocean Blue colored vinyl. The books are divided into seven sections, as follows: Studio Outtakes (16 titles); Live, Rehearsals, and Private Recordings (87); Classic Albums (40); Soundtracks (31); Books (40); Sessions (16); and Vinyl Records (52).
As far as possible, within each section, we have arranged each release in order of recording date. (There is also a chronological list by release date at the end of volume 2) For each release, we have included as much information as possible in the limited space available, including engineer names (where known), catalog numbers, release dates, track listings, recording data, and a few short paragraphs of information about the music.
We have also included a useful list of Elvis’ concert dates from 1969 to 1977, highlighting the FTD titles that have come from them, as well as other important official live releases. At a glance, you can see how well represented each tour and engagement is in terms of official releases.
Both books contain many beautiful photographs related to their respective titles. We believe that these books will please all Elvis fans, from new devotees to long-term, die-hards. We hold the FTD label in high regard, feel immense gratitude for the releases they’ve given us, and hope for its continued success in the future."
