Das 160 Seiten starke Buch "Elvis: US Army - Vinyl Records 1956 - 1967" wurde dieser Tage veröffentlicht und ist die Fortsetzung der Bücher "Elvis: US Demo & Acetates 1953 - 1965" bzw. "Elvis: US Demo & Acetates 1965 - 1993". Das Buch beinhaltet über 280 Bilder und widmet sich er Army-Vinyl-Veröffentlichungen von Elvis.

"Elvis liked expensive things: cars, motorcycles, clothes, and jewelry. His jewels befitted a king. He wore sumptuous pendants hung on heavy gold chains; huge lavish rings dripping of rubies, sapphires, lapis lazuli, and emeralds; bracelets of gold and precious gems. A list of the gifts to this individual comes to a staggering total more than fifty items. The value of the item was of no concern to Elvis. The horseshoe ring he wore in 'Aloha from Hawaii' eventually sold at auction in 2017 for $204,800."
