At that moment, Elvis had not sung a single note professionally. He auditioned for hours without any success or glimmer of hope.

On the brink of ending his first recording session without success. A nervous, scared teenager paced the floor, during a late break. Nervously, he just started to play chords to an old blues song called “That’s All Right Mama,” with a slight alteration of tempo and style.

Im Januar 2020 veröffentlichte Kees Mouwen (ElvisDayByDay.Com den ersten Band von "Elvis Day By Day - The Year in Review". Die Reaktionen waren positiv und mehrere Leser beschrieben das Buch als eine 2.0 Version der jährlichen Elvis-Specials, die von 1963 bis 1985 veröffentlicht wurden.

"Poplar Tunes Publishing" und "The Memphis Mansion" kündigen nun die Veröffentlichung von "Elvis - Day By Day 2020: The Year In Review" für Mitte Januar 2021 an. Das Buch wurde von Kees Mouwen zusammengestellt bzw. geschrieben, hat zusätzliche Beiträge von Nigel Patterson und Piers Beagley - vom Elvis Information Network - und anderen Fans aus der ganzen Welt sowie einem Vorwort der bekannten Elvis-Presley-Autorin Alanna Nash.
