"Born on January 8, 1935, Elvis Presley grew up in an average southern household. When he was 13, his family moved to Memphis, where he later worked as an usher and a truck driver. Though he always had an interest in music, his big break into the business happened by accident. As a birthday gift for his mother, Elvis went to Sun Records to record a song for her. The studio's owner, Sam Phillips, was so impressed that he asked Elvis to come back and record a few songs for him.
From these humble beginning, a legend was born.

Nach allem, was dort zum Inhalt steht, handelt es sich damit bei dieser 3-DVD-Box wieder einmal um eine abgespeckte Version der The Definitive Elvis Box, wenn ich mich nicht irre. Nett gemacht, aber in dem Falle wieder ein typischer Fall von Geldschneiderei. Denn der, der sich nicht bei Semero informiert, blickt doch irgendwann nicht mehr durch bei der Masse an DVD-Veröffentlichungen. :angry:

In der Tat handelt es sich auch hier um eine PASSPORT - Veröffentlichung, deren Inhalt so bekannt sein könnte ( <span style='color:blue'>*</span> ) . Als Extras sind die auch als ´Extra Feature` gekennzeichneten Bestandteile zu sehen.

( <span style='color:blue'>*</span> ) Ansich weise ich auf Ähnlichkeiten bzw. Wiederholungen ( soweit mir bekannt ) hin. Allerdings vermeide ich bewusst in meinem Erstposting zu einem Artikel persönliche Meinungen, oder spreche hier Kauf - Empfehlungen aus. Sätze, wie EIN MUSS FÜR ELVIS FANS oder dergleichen wird es nicht geben. So werde ich aber auch nichts sonderlich schlecht reden. Kaufentscheidungen werden aus unterschiedlichen Gründen heraus getroffen. Auch liegen die persönlichen Erfahrungen , sowie die schon zu Haus angehäuften ´Elvis - Schätze` der User auf unterschiedlichem Niveau. Ich mag niemandem zu nahe treten wollen, der z.B. solch eine DVD- Box nur der ´gut aussehenden´ Pappbox wegen kaufen will. Jenem Fan wird der evtl. wiederkehrende Inhalt somit nachrangig sein...
